South Korea’s innovative design forces have been on the global creative radar for some time. Fabric design has not escaped this phenomenon, with the Korean Preview – a leading Korean textile trade show – taking on July 10-11, 2013 at the Metropolitan Pavilion (125 West 18th Street) in New York City.
Strategic Korean government support through such organizations as Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy (MOTIE), Korea Federation of Textile Industries (KOFOTI), and Korea Trade Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA) for past thirty years, enabled Korea to emerge as one of the world’s fashion textile and fabric design capitals, and its products now easily compete on the global scale.
“We are pleased to support KOREAN PREVIEW, as its continued success underlines the strategic investment of the Government of Korea in globally promoting and expanding its innovative textile industry, as well as highlights the importance of New York City as the ultimate destination for fashion commerce,” said Stephan Rabimov, President of DEPESHA.
Fabric designs and textiles are the ultimate designer tools to remain innovative and original, and with over fifty exhibitors attending the Korean Preview in NYC would enable many US designers and retailers to remain on the cutting edge.
Visitors can expect to see the latest exquisite quality and trends in fabric and textile designs from leading Korean manufacturers, including special fashion events and raffle prizes giveaways.
