DEPESHA and Consulate General of the Russian Federation in New York present Russian Fashion Industry Presentation and Reception, featuring original works by established and emerging Russian fashion designers, photographers and stylists, on February 6th, 2013, inside Consulate General of the Russian Federation — formerly John Henry Hammond Mansion — on the Upper East Side in New York City.
Russian Fashion Industry Reception will showcase pieces from a canon of modern Russian designers: Irina Shaposhnikova, Aleksandr Khrisanfov, Serguei Teplov, Dmitry Loginov ARSENICUM, Tegin, BEssARION, Pirosmani by Jenya Malygina, Sergey Polyakov, Viva Vox. A renowned Moscow fashion stylist, Natalia Sych curated universal all-black pieces from each designer to unify the fashion presentation.
“By supporting Russian fashion industry at home and abroad, we are working to not only showcase the brightest Russian designers, but also to develop a keen interest in Russian fashion products among U.S. and global consumers of style,” said Stephan Rabimov, DEPESHA founder and editor-in-chief.
In addition, attending guests will have a rare chance to see some of the most provocative and creative fashion editorials produced by the Russian photographers Danil Golovkin, Natali Arefieva, Dmitry Zhuravlev, in collaboration with stylists Gosha Kartsev, Natalia Sych, and Alexandr Rogov.
